SHIRETOKO NOW !

I have been to Shiretoko, RAUSU-cho.
There was sea gull's parent and children on the building of Tourist
Association in the RAUSU-cho. (photograph 1)The hair still grows and
the children don't become complete.

And next, this is a famous "Oshinkoshin cat" (photograph 2) at the waterfall of Oshinkoshin(Oshinkoshin no Taki in UTORO,Shiretoko). This old lady always sleeps on the space of shade in front of the entrance door because it is hot. Ihihi. 。。

I found a funny

Hi,the weather today is just nice, not hot, not cool, I like it.
Many of travelers from outside of Hokkaido are telling about this fresh air.

By the way I sometimes get my lunch at a store near our shop.
Today I found a funny bread called `milk steamed bun`.
The pattern of colour remind a cow.
If you are a dog lover you might think of a Dalmatian.

I hard thesedays people travel with their dogs.
Even here Abashiri there are some hotels you can stay with your pets.
How execiting isn`t it?

So the `milk steamed bun` tasted ok to me.
I should take plastic film before shooting.

Tōrō nagashi , Spirits on Abashiri River.

Tōrō nagashi (灯篭流し) is a Japanese ceremony in which participants float paper lanterns (chōchin) down a river. This is primarily done on the last evening of the Buddist Obon festival as a way to guide the spirits of the departed back to the other world. Obon takes place on the 13 to 16 of August or July, depending on the calendar you go by. The white lanterns are for those who have died in the past year. Some Japanese believe that we come from water, so the lanterns represent our bodies returning to water (the sea).
